problems
- we might not be able to film in college after dark/after 4.10pm.
- Not finishing in enough time.
- not shooting enough.
- camera problems.
- people not turning up.
- locations might not be available.
Solutions/preventions to the problems
- ask staff members if we allowed to film in college after dark. Ask my media teachers and members of staff that are relevant to the rooms that we want to film in. If not possible we can either film in the day or find at different location that will allow us to film in the dark.
- Write up a schedule of when the group is going to shoot and make sure that the group sticks to the schedule. Send texts to group group members the day before shooting to remind them of the time and location. If a member is absent and means that we cant shoot then we will have to shoot that scene the next time we are scheduled in to shoot.
- To prevent this we would count up how long each scene is and see if it is long enough. We would take multiple shots of the same scene. We can try shooting the same scene but from a variety of different angles. This allows us to pick out the best shots.
- We will take a spare camera with us when shooting. We will take spare batteries. If the second camera goes wrong we will send a member of the group to get another camera. If we are in a location away from town and this happens then we will have to reshoot that scene when we have a camera that works.
- Send reminders to each member of the group the night before and on the day. For members of the team that are often late then I need to tell them to come earlier than the agreed time. So if they are late then they will be on time.
- I need to visit the locations first and see if they are suitable/available. I need to check that we allowed to film in these locations and if we are not then I will find other locations for us. I will have a back up location for every location that we are planning to film at.
